Bruce (Ed) Jesson brings the SNVC Board more than 40 years of experience that spans both a distinguished military career and successful corporate career. Mr. Jesson retired in 1987 from the U.S. Army, as Colonel. In addition to being an accomplished aviator, he is a graduate of the Army's Command and General Staff College, the Logistic Executive Development Course at Fort Lee, and the Defense Systems Management College at Fort Belvoir .
Mr. Jesson's military career inspired a spirit of entrepreneurship. His corporate career has evolved across the areas of management, finance, contract administration, and marketing. Applying his expertise in these areas, he has been instrumental in the growth of companies like FC Business Systems and Premier Technology Group (PTG). FC Business Systems was recently acquired by General Dynamics. In the five years he was with PTG, he helped it grow from three employees and revenues of $425,000 to a company of 482 employees and more than $45.0 million in revenues and more than $65 million in backlog. In 2000, PTG was named Second Fastest Growing Firm in Washington , DC . In 2001, it was named Ninth Fastest Growing Firm in Washington , DC . In 2003, Mr. Jesson directed the acquisition of PTG to CACI. Over the past three years, he has provided strategic planning and consulting services to small businesses in the National Capital Region and in North Carolina . Today, Mr. Jesson is the Executive Vice President of CMT Solutions, a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, whose mission is to provide specialized management expertise in high tech solutions for both the private and government sectors.
Mr. Jesson holds a BA from the California State University , Humboldt in Political Science and Economics and a MA degree in Accounting. He is a graduate of the Army's Command and General Staff College, the Logistic Executive Development Course at Fort Lee, and the Defense Systems Management College at Fort Belvoir . He and his wife live in Alexandria , Virginia .
