Federal Aviation Administration - BITS-II Award
June 19, 2003 - New FAA contract award

SNVC, as part of the DataSource, Inc. Team, was awarded a 1+7 year contract to provide Information Technology Services throughout the Federal Aviation Administration. The BITS II contract is a 1+7 year, multiple award follow-on to the original BITS contract with expanded requirements for telecommunications, systems engineering, and information technology support. BITS II will allow long term contracting for an expanded array of Information Technology Telecommunications and services (engineering, technical, programmatic, and analytical) to better serve the requirements of the FAA and other Federal Government customers nationwide. Requirements include, but are not limited to, applications programming, testing, requirements analysis, design and development of automated systems for such areas as financial and program management, procurement support, travel, training, government operations, and supply functions, as well as government research and development efforts for intra/inter national telecommunications issues and airways system support. This competitive acquisition is limited to the Small Business, for contractors qualifying under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes 541511, 541512, 541513, and 541519 non-prime team member/subcontractors shall be qualified under NAICS Code 517110.
