Veterans Affairs - Cyber Security Award
June 25, 2003 - New Security BPA Contract

SNVC, as part of the MAXIMUS, Inc. Team, was awarded a 3 year BPA for providing cyber security support to the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Cyber Security (OCS) is responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of veterans private data, ensuring the timely and uninterrupted flow of information throughout the VA enterprise, and ensuring that VA systems are protected from the potential of fraud, waste and abuse. Our team shall assist the OCS to comply with Federal information security laws; the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA); Government Information Security Reform Act (GISRA), Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), Privacy Act of 1974, and other policy-related and administrative requirements.
