SNVC Selected by Northrop
Grumman for CMMI Mentor Protégé Program
June 30, 2005 - In an ever evolving goal to deliver
the highest possible quality of support and services
to our customers, SNVC is proud to announce that it
has been selected by Northrop Grumman Information Technology
for their CMMI Mentor Protégé program.
This relationship will result in Northrop Grumman Information
Technology, a CMMI Level 5 company, providing consulting
services to SNVC as the company implements the Capability
Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®) framework.
SNVC's agreement with Northrop Grumman Information
Technology will aid in meeting the CMMI Level II and
then Level III objectives over the next 2 years. SNVC

the CMMI Level III rating by the end of 2006 and this

19 top-level ratings for benchmarking commercial and
defense industry best practices for management and engineering,
further validating the company's number-one ranking
as a federal systems integrator. For this reason, we
believe partnering with Northrop Grumman will enable
SNVC to achieve our CMMI goals, through the adoption
of improved practices for management and technical processes,
such as software engineering, systems engineering and
integration.
