December 21, 2005 - SNVC, as a proud member of the CAS, Inc. team, announced the award of the U.S. Army Evaluation Center (AEC) Evlaution Support contract.
The U.S Army Evaluation Center has awarded CAS, Inc. one of the Prime Contractors for AEC. This is a one year contract with seven one year options. This contract provides the opportunity to compete for all AEC task orders.
The United States Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC) evaluate Acquisition Category (ACAT) I through IV systems in the acquisition lifecycle and systems undergoing experimental (demonstration) assessments; i.e. ATD and ACTD. The U.S. Army Evaluation Center (AEC), a subordinate command of ATEC, is currently responsible for teaming with other subordinate commands, the Operational Test Command (OTC), and the Developmental Test Command (DTC) to plan and conduct independent evaluations for all Army systems. These teams are called ATEC System Teams (ASTs). AEC is responsible, among other things, for participating as a member and/or chair of ASTs to plan and conduct integrated system evaluations of Army combat, command and control, support, and information technology systems. AEC is also responsible for suitability, survivability, reliability, maintainability, and logistic support analysis in support of evaluation of these systems. The evaluations support decision reviews and program milestone decisions.
