SNVC on Winning Team for GSA VETS
December 19, 2006 – Together with Carolina Management and Technology, Inc. (dba CMT Solutions), SNVC is please to announce that it has been awarded a 10 year, $5 Billion General Services Administration government-wide Information Technology Services contract.
The Veterans Technology Services (VETS) Government wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is a small business set-aside contract for service-disabled veteran-owned (SDVO) small technology firms. It is the result of Executive Order 13360 that is designed to strengthen federal contracting opportunities for SDVO technology firms. VETS presents a new way for federal agencies to achieve small business goals through purchase of Information Technology solutions from small businesses owned by services-disabled veterans.
Headquartered in Fayetteville , NC , CMT Solutions is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business with marketing offices in Corolla N.C. and Alexandria , VA. In business since 2004, CMT Solutions specializes in government contracting support services, including providing personnel for the North Carolina Military Business Center . It is estimated that the award will bring over $75m of Federal business to CMT Solutions and the state of North Carolina in the first year of operations.
