Carl Pearson joined SNVC in 2013, bringing with him over 30 years of experience in Information Technology. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Richmond and an MBA from Southeastern University. A former Naval officer, Carl served our nation for 10 years at both sea and shore duty stations. He began as a Junior Division Officer, eventually rising to the ranks of Department Head Officer, Project Officer and, finally, Admiral Staff Officer. 

Post-Service Experience
Following his service with the Navy, Carl worked for Applied Engineering Management Corporation (AEM), where he assumed both strategic and operational responsibilities. He led several pivotal projects for AEM, such as the network migration from Novell to Microsoft and the integration of VoIP.

At SNVC, Carl enhances network security, performance and efficiency for our customers. He counsels them on the best solutions for their business and manages the infrastructure that supports their enterprise resource systems, VoIP communications systems and product development platforms. Carl’s expertise spans the public and private sectors, including supporting the Department of Defense, Department of State, Department of Education and several commercial interests.

IT Specialties
Carl’s specialties include network analysis & security, network architecture, network installations, network diagnostics and program management. He is proficient in firewalls, system administration, VMware, disaster recovery, network administration, purchasing and budgeting, and configuration management.
