SNVC works in partnership with our customers to implement solutions focused on mission objectives, and we ensure that program requirements and goals are met on time and within budget. We maximize customer return on investment by thinking one step ahead and mitigating risks early – and by ensuring technical and contract compliance to accepted industry practices and standards, such as ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 9001. In fact, SNVC was one of the first small businesses to comply with the first version of ISO, receiving our initial certification in 2008 and recertification in December 2011. Contract compliance is important, but we are always alert for ways to improve client operations and reduce costs.

Thought Leadership

We believe that by sharing our knowledge, we raise the bar for everyone. Our in-house experts are critical to our success. Our staff includes career military officers with real-world experience in successfully managing testing and integration programs in high-consequence environments. We also have in-house authors who literally helped Microsoft write the book on Business Intelligence. Many staff members hold advanced degrees and certifications, including PMI Project Management Professional (PMP). In 2009, SNVC added SharePoint capabilities to its in-house expertise, following with a CyberSecurity practice in 2010.

SNVC is the 2011 and 2012 Virginia Business magazine winner of the “Best Places to Work” award in our business size category. We have been recognized as an Inc. 500 “fastest-growing company” and one of the Virginia Fantastic 50. SNVC was a finalist for the SECAF Contractor of the Year ($12m -$25m category) in 2009. And in 2002, we were recognized by the Coalition for Government Procurement with its Most Innovative Small Business award. SNVC is a member of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce and the VA Chamber of Commerce Small Business Committee, which SNVC President and CEO Tom DeWitt chairs.
