SNVC is pleased to announce that it has been re-certified to the ISO 9001:2008 Standard. This achievement marks the fourth consecutive year of ISO certification. ISO 9001:2008 is globally regarded as the most comprehensive body of standards on quality management systems and practices. It was established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), an organization of 162 national standards institutes and the foremost authority on quality standards. Certification is dependent upon a quality management system that includes management responsibility, resource management, measurement, analysis, and improvement.
“SNVC’s initial decision to obtain ISO registration was part of our overall strategic plan for continued growth and expansion within the Federal sector. We remain committed to embracing global standards that reflect industry best practices to further our ability to provide both superior services and exceptional value to both our federal and commercial clients,” stated Tom DeWitt, President and CEO of the company. “Quality practices and a high attention to value-add is embedded in everything we do.”
To achieve ISO registration, the SNVC team focused on financial management practices, client invoicing and billing, timekeeping, and internal documentation processes. As the company moves into its 14th year of providing professional services and diversifies its portfolio of clients, both federal and commercial, maintaining ISO certification was a key milestone. As Mr. DeWitt stated, “As we expand our offering to include solutions that use technology to deliver business efficiencies, our clients can be assured that they are receiving the highest possible quality in both the services and solutions that we deliver.”
