As “Stars of the Silver Screen,” SNVC Celebrates Twelfth Annual Dinner with Fine Cuisine, Awards and Dancing

On Saturday January 22, 2011, SNVC celebrated its 12th Annual Dinner with fine cuisine, awards, and dancing. The Annual Dinner is SNVC’s formal event of the year; celebrating the past year’s successes and welcoming in the New Year. The theme for the evening was “Hollywood: Stars of the Silver Screen,” inviting employees to “glam” up for the event and walk the red carpet.

Held at the Waterford of Fair Oaks, the evening kicked-off with an elegant social hour fit for even Hollywood’s finest. Complete with candelabras, red roses, and decorative crystal, this year’s Annual Dinner truly embodied the spirit of grandeur and success the evening represents for the company.

Filled with awards for various achievements, innovations, and special recognitions, the Annual Dinner recognized SNVC’s most successful moments of 2010. CEO Tom DeWitt presented Gina Santos, Mark Gehrt, Samantha Ward, Kiara Girkins, Kai Beasley, Brett Holtzman, and Andre Kannon, the seven members of the Knowledge Management team, with the “Spirit of Innovation Award,” one of the highest honors in the company. Additionally, the members of the Virginia’s Best Places to Work capture team were recognized and awarded for their outstanding efforts in successfully completing the necessary requirements for Virginia Business Magazine’s “Best Places to Work” award. The evening concluded with the first ever “Tommy Awards,” a series of mock Oscars identifying various employees’ standout moments, and a few sweeps of the dance floor.
