SNVC will be teaming with AMSG, a small business provider of project management and engineering support, on an Information Verification & Validation (IV&V) contract awarded by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The effort will be headed by AMSG with SNVC support. The AMSG team will leverage the highest of SNVC’s technical capabilities, IV&V experience, and programmatic knowledge.
On October 25, 2010, the DHS awarded the IV&V contract with a period of performance of up to three years. The IV&V effort is in conjunction with the DHS rebuild of the St. Elizabeths campus in Anacostia- expanding multiple buildings and technologies. St. Elizabeths was originally built by Congress in the 1850’s as a premier psychiatric hospital. As the largest Federal construction job since the Pentagon, the project promises a major opportunity to rejuvenate a struggling community. While this is the first teaming effort between AMSG and SNVC, there is much excitement over the opportunity. “Our collective experience demonstrates our ability to deliver high quality services and solutions, and we look forward to supporting the DHS,” stated Colleen Reed, Director of Communications at SNVC.
