SNVC Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Registration

Fairfax, Virginia / January 8, 2009 – SNVC, a veteran-owned company, has achieved the ISO 9001:2008 registration in recognition of its standardized best practices used throughout the company. SNVC’s decision to obtain ISO registration is part of an overall strategic plan for continued growth and expansion within the Federal sector. The company has embraced global standards to further its ability to provide superior services to its clients.

To achieve ISO registration, the SNVC staff underwent a complicated registration process. Under the leadership of Bill Lytle, Chief Strategy Officer for SNVC, detailed documentation for more than 30 business processes and over 100 procedures, including financial management practices, client invoicing and billing, and timekeeping underwent a comprehensive audit. “We have always used ISO as our guideline for our documentation on our processes and procedures, so while our ISO implementation officially started in September, we only needed to address compliancy-specific details. We are pleased with the successful audits that took place in the last four months in that they have helped to solidify our credentials. We are also very pleased to be one of the first companies registered to the ISO 9001:2008 revised standard,” said Mr. Lytle.

ISO registration continues to be increasingly important to competing in the Federal sector. As SNVC moves into its second decade of providing professional services to the Federal Government, achieving ISO certification was a critical milestone.
