SNVC Celebrates its 5th Annual Dinner - West

February 10, 2012.  Members of the SNVC Leadership team joined the team supporting the Communications Security Logistics Activity (CSLA) in Sierra Vista, Arizona, for the 5th Annual Dinner West. The dinner was held at the Mesquite Tree restaurant, which provided a taste of Arizona in both menu and decor. During dinner, the team enjoyed a look back at the success and fun in 2011.

The best news of 2011 for the CSLA team was a successful re-compete of the contract, which means continued support for our client at Ft. Huachuca for another three years.  It also means working with both CACI (the prime) and SRA (an long-standing business partner) under the R23G contract vehicle.

After dinner, Reginald Williams (Sr. Director Professional Services) presented members of the team who graduated from the Covey Signature Course with certificates of completion. He and Mark Colwell (Project Manager for the CSLA task) then recognized former SNVC employee, Brad Blazek, for his outstanding community service supporting Wounded Warriors throughout the country. Blazek is a Wounded Warrior himself who has invested more than 2,000 hours of community service working with soldiers who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The evening concluded with remarks from SNVC CEO and President Tom DeWitt, who provided a look at SNVC's financial stability, efforts to diversify in both federal and commercial markets, and investments in the SNVC workforce through partnerships with FAST U and Learning Tree. He ended the evening with sincere appreciation for the work done by the entire CSLA team, knowing that they have all supported soldiers who have been down range, relying on equipment and secure communications that this team works to ensure it is maintained and operational throughout the mission.
